The Casablanca Lilies were very large blooms that smelled incredible and lasted a few weeks before dropping petals. The creme de cassis dahlias were my first dahlias to bloom and most frequent bloomers! Color as expected about 4-5" blooms.
I have bought multiple Casa Blanca Lilies both for myself and my friends. The bulbs were big and they looked healthy. Sure enough, every single one I have planted not only grew but also bloomed multiple lilies in their first season. These lilies smell heavenly! Casa Blancas are florists' piece de resistance, and I wasn't even sure if the regular folks like us could grow these gems, just like the ones you see in bouquets in magazines. Well, yes we can! I can't recommend them enough. I have planted my bulbs in groups on the walkway leading to the front door and every time I have a friend stopping by, they comment on how magnificent my garden smells! I will be buying more next spring!
We've had a very dry summer, and the lilies still bloomed and smell amazing! I can tell they are stressed from the heat, but they've held up wonderfully.
Started a little slow and stunted looking. Then one day they just doubled in size and reached for the sky. They needed no support until the humongous blooms appeared and oh my goodness passerby was getting curious as to what was going to happen soon..no one was disappointed!! The gorgeous blooms and intoxicating fragrance has guaranteed this one as the winner of my 2018 gardens, thank you sooo much!!!!!!
LARGE BEAUTIFUL BLOOM - STILL GOING STRONG DURING ONE OF THE HOTTEST AND DRIEST SUMMERS ON RECORD
I Purchased my lilies Casablanca in July 2018 They are now in bloom standing tall and beautiful not to mention they smell amazing.
Color was vivid, blooms were large and lasted a good two weeks. Fragrance was heavenly.
I started growing Casablanca lilies 19 years ago after I used them in my wedding arrangements. Over the years, they've been OK...a few blooms on weak stems...until I started buying the bulbs from Longfield Gardens. Holy cow--the Casablanca lilies took over my garden this summer! The size and quality of the bulbs impressed me when I received them, but nothing impressed me more than the enormous flowers, exceptional fragrance, and prolific blooms that made neighbors stop me in the garden to ask what variety of lilies I grew. I had plenty of flowers to create bouquets without losing impact in the garden, too. I'm a Longfield Garden loyalist now--all of my bulbs will come from you!
